School Closure information

School closures in the event of heavy snow

In the event of Beaufort taking the decision to close school ahead of the normal 8.20am start, a message will be sent to parents via text and email and details will be put on the news ticker of the school website.  A message will also be sent out on the school's official Facebook page.  Parents should listen to the local radio which gives out announcements of school closures (96.4FM Eagle radio/ or BBC Surrey 104.6FM).

In the event of the school needing to close part way through the day, parents will be advised via email and a message will be posted on the school website and official Facebook page.  The local radio will also be informed (as above).  Parents would need to collect their children from school as soon as possible.  If you are unable to collect your child yourself and another adult is doing this for you, we must be informed by YOU.  We will not release your child to another adult unless we have heard DIRECTLY FROM YOU.  You can call the school office on 01483 474986 or email if this is the case.

When it is deemed safe and practical to re-open the school, we will inform you via email, on the school website news ticker and our Facebook page, as well as the local radio (as above).
