After School Club
OUR AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Welcome to Beaufort’s After School Club. Here we offer children a fun and active time every evening!
Children coming to the club are collected from their classes and taken to the After School Club.
We understand that evenings with your children are precious to you and therefore we encourage our Key Stage 2 children to complete their spellings and maths homework in a quiet room as soon as they arrive. We try to read with every Key Stage 1 child throughout the session depending on how many attend. As soon as Key Stage 1 children arrive and once the Key Stage 2 children have finished their homework, they are offered a healthy snack.
We then, weather permitting, spend as much time outside in the fresh air as possible. We play a variety of games and make the most of our school’s outdoor environment. The children will then be offered a second snack. This includes pasta, beans on toast, noodles, pitta and hummus, toast with jam, honey and butter and soup.
In the warmer months children then head back outside. During the colder, darker months the children will stay inside and have the choices of playing board games, puzzles, pool, table tennis, just dance, craft and much more.
An afternoon (up to 3 hours) at the club costs £10 per child (£9 for additional siblings). The charge for adhoc attendance is £11 per child and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. To meet your needs as best we can, parents/carers can collect their children at any point up until 6pm. Late collection incurs a charge of £5 from 6pm-6.15pm and then £5 per quarter of an hour after this for each child.
The After School Club is in high demand. However, we will always try our best to keep waiting lists low, or non-existent, if we can. Please make sure you book your place in advance by emailing the After School Club at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the school office at email@example.com.
We look forward to meeting you and your children soon!
